Stacked Library was a collaboration project between the Drake Community Public Library and ASI Signs. The library has been working with ASI for close to a year to make a sign that would make the library easier to find. The library wasn't satisfied with the traditional sign designs ASI initially proposed, and they asked me to work with their design team to come up with an eye-catching creative solution. My idea was to create a functional art sculpture sign using colorful giant letters that spelled out "library." The final design was fabricated by ASI using traditional sign materials. The letters were cut and formed from aluminum, and the entire piece was powder coated for durability.
