Dinocar

The Dinocar is one of my favorite projects and still my daily driver during the warm months. I created this prehistoric art car by forming the dinosaur spikes and dots out of foam. Each was covered with fiberglass and coated with body filler so I could sand it to a smooth surface. After all the dinosaur attributes were smooth, I primed the vehicle and painted the green base coat with the help of a friend. While the paint was still wet, I airbrushed the orange highlights. Painting the orange while the green was still wet allowed the two colors to blend organically together. The Dinocar was configured with sound effects and roars like a dinosaur on command.
