Word Bird

The “Word Bird,” standing 10 feet tall, is a huge cartoonish ostrich I constructed out of newspaper and recycled books. It was hard coated with wheat paste and a couple of layers of Mod Podge. I built and donated this mammoth to help support the Tompkins County Public Library's annual fund raising campaign.
