Gershwin Drop
The Gershwin Drop was a minimalistic installation that I designed and installed on the side of the Community School of Music & Art in Ithaca, NY. The idea behind the concept was to mimic a baby grand piano falling from the roof of the building. The piano was designed and printed to the exact dimensions of a Steinway baby grand piano. I applied some motion blur effects to the graphic to enhance the falling effect. This giant sticker was installed 30 feet from the ground. It was supposed to be up for three months, but the quality of the sticker was so durable that it stayed up for close to three years.
